Event planning

We plan and run your event, wherever you are holding it.

You might have a date, a venue and a growing list of things nobody has yet taken responsibility for. Or you might have nothing settled at all, beyond the fact that it is happening. Venue management is our main business and this is the rest of it: planning and running events — a wedding, a company off-site, a milestone birthday — at venues we have nothing else to do with. We can take the whole thing on, take the one part that has become a problem, or read through a plan you have already made and tell you what is missing from it.

Weddings

However much of it you would like us to take on

If you would rather hand the whole thing over, we take it from the first venue visit through to the last supplier invoice. If you have already made the big decisions and only want somebody to carry everything that comes after them, partial planning starts from wherever you have got to. And if you have planned all of it yourself and simply want the day itself to run properly, that is what on-the-day coordination is for. All three are normal, and so is everything in between. Weddings abroad work the same way, with the travel and the local suppliers built into the plan from the start.

  • Full planning — from the venue search through to the last supplier invoice
  • Partial planning — you have made a start, and we take it from where you left it
  • On-the-day coordination — the run sheet, the suppliers and the timings, on the day itself
  • Destination weddings — travel, local suppliers and the timings a distance imposes
  • Consultancy — a read through a plan you have made yourself, and what it is missing
Corporate

Whether it is your job or the one that landed on top of it

An off-site or a gala is often not anybody's actual job. It arrives on top of one, with a date already in the diary and a room full of people who are expecting it to work. We have run an off-site for Duracell, a Commonwealth Games gala, Boat Race Day hospitality and press events, and the shape of the work is much the same whatever the occasion: find the right venue, get everyone to it, feed them, put up the ones who have travelled, and hold the schedule together on the day. Venues abroad are part of the same job, not a separate one handed to somebody else.

  • Venue sourcing, in London and abroad
  • Logistics — production schedule, suppliers, access and the running order on the day
  • Delegate accommodation and travel for people coming in from elsewhere
  • Press events, launches and hospitality built around a fixture
Private

You do not have to come to us at the beginning

You do not need to have it worked out before you call. Plenty of private events reach us part-way through — a venue booked and nothing else settled, or a plan that has run into something nobody expected — and some reach us three weeks out, with the date close and something gone wrong. We pick things up from wherever they have got to and take on the parts that are still open, rather than starting the whole thing again. Birthdays, anniversaries, christenings and children's parties are the same job at different sizes, and the smaller ones still need somebody watching the door, the food and the clock.

  • Coming in at any stage — from the first idea, or from three weeks out
  • Venue and supplier sourcing, and the contracts that go with them
  • Birthdays, anniversaries and milestone celebrations
  • Children's parties and family celebrations
