Four historic clubs and chapels.
All four are in our care. Each has its own committee, its own membership and its own calendar, and none of them run the same programme — what they share is that the commercial diary is built around member use rather than over it.
Not on the list
Most of the venues we talk to are not on it yet.
We would rather say no to a building than run it badly, so we take one on when we have the people to give it a named lead. The list is not closed. If you sit on a committee or a board and the events side is not working — or is working, but on nobody's watch in particular — tell us about it and we will give you a straight view on whether we are the right fit.
And one of our own
Winterberries, Fulham.
A party boutique on Fulham Road with an event space behind it, open to the neighbourhood for children's parties, craft workshops and small celebrations.
We did not take Winterberries on for someone else. We built it, we own it and we run it — the lease, the staffing, the diary and the takings. It is why we understand the position a committee is in when it hands its building to an operator: we carry the same risk we are asking you to hand over.
